Anticipated Impact
(students, teachers, curricula affected by the project)

  Through F.I.N.D.S and its participants' inservice presentations, 50 teachers plus their students will benefit directly with an anticipated 900 teachers and their students will benefit indirectly. Materials developed will be available for use by all Kansas teachers through a proceedings journal made available through the Sternberg Museum. The director and consultants will publicize the F.I.N.D.S. approach to fostering hands-on, inquiry based science learning through professional presentations and publications, and a proceedings journal of the project. We believe that by disseminating these experiences, other will be inspired to foster similar programs.
