  Phase One: A workshop, July, 2002 (35 contract hours) will take place for 50 (district teams of 2) western Kansas K-12 teachers at the Sternberg Museum, Hays, KS. Museum and University scientists will assist with content, present pedagogical strategies, and review participant-created materials for accuracy. Two 3-hour follow-up sessions will be held, via on-campus and distance learning, during the succeeding school year.
